Help Nature by Recycling More

sustainability
Do nature a favor and recycle more!

By recycling, by definition, you want to reduce your ecological footprint. We find it fantastic that you are looking for new ways to live sustainably, and recycling efficiently is one of them. For example, you can generate green energy from solar panels or simply pick up trash lying by the road or elsewhere.

You can also make your used appliances and lamps useful again by having them recycled properly to prevent harmful substances from ending up in nature. In addition, many materials can be reused. Take your old devices to one of your nearest recycling center, to the nearest recycling park or to a reuse center to give a boost to the circular economy!

Save raw materials if you can! Electroic devices contain many materials including rare metals like gold, platinum and silver, but also ordinary metals like iron and copper, plastic and others. The raw materials needed to produce these electronic materials are taken from the earth through conventional mining, not to mention a whole series of other successive production processes. The earth reserves are therefore naturally not inexhaustible and in addition this way of operating is extremely polluting.

A much more sustainable alternative is called urban mining: the reusable raw materials from your old devices are recovered. All the more reason not to throw away your used devices or leave them lying around in the bottom of a cupboard!

Start recycling via urban mining. Urban mining is always getting more interesting. The concentration of precious metals and minerals is in fact 50 times higher in used electrical appliances than in minerals still buried in the ground. So it’s not only less polluting, but it also costs less and requires less energy than conventional mining. A comparison with solar energy: thanks to technological advances, it is now more advantageous to produce electricity via solar panels than via fossil fuels. You want to know more? Discover all the advantages of urban mining here.

And recycling costs you nothing at all! Reduce your ecological footprint even further by simply bringing your used electrical appliances and lamps to a recycling point or a recycling park. If you have devices that are still working but are no longer in use, give them to a reuse center or a social economy organization. It will take little effort, it’s free and the environment will thank you! Thank you for helping us contribute to a greener planet.

Also move your old appliances to the nearest collection point. Are you planning to move to a new place? Great, now’s not just the time to enjoy the epoxy flooring at your new place, it’s also the time to give a second life to your appliances and lamps. If properly recycled, no harmful substances will be released into the environment. In addition, many materials that compose them can be used again. Are your old devices still working? Then share it with other people.

If you have a ton of old appliances and other junk you have no use for, the best option is to hire a dumpster rental. The junk removal company will bring a rolloff bin to your place, and you can fill it with all your unwanted items. Then they will come back and haul away that bin and bring all the reusable items to the nearest recycling facility.

Only fill your moving boxes with useful items for your new home and move your used devices to one of your closest recycling point in store, the nearest recycling park or a reuse center. We will together give a boost to the circular economy! Save the raw materials! Electrical devices contain many materials such as plastic, ordinary metal such as iron or sometimes rare metals such as gold and silver, for example. These raw materials to produce these materials are taken from the earth through conventional mining, not to mention a whole series of other successive production processes.

Reserves are becoming increasingly scarce and this way of operating is extremely polluting. Urban mining is a much more sustainable alternative: the raw materials of your old devices are recovered to be reused. All the more reason not to throw your used devices away or leave them lying around in your basement.

Recycling through urban mining is your civic duty if you want to have a sustainable planet for future generations.
